With its 8 day maceration period, this is a great example of a traditional Alsatian Pinot Noir, somewhere between Red and Rosé in character. Develops fine fruit aromas (raspberry, blackcurrant), relatively well-structured. Served at between 12 and 15° it goes well with white meat, poultry (grilled chicken) and roasts. Served cooler, it is the perfect partner for a barbecue meal.
